Set it up like normal but point it to the EGS folder where your actual GTA V install is. You're going to extract the asi, dll, pdb and xml file to the plugins folder, under fiveM.įollow the mods authors instruction to install the mod.Įxample some mods require you to run/edit with OpenIV. Follow the instructions as normal to install (the scope of this guide is to get dotnet to work on egs gta v).
#HOW TO INSTALL SCRIPT HOOK V DOT NET MOD#
I presume that unless a mod was specifically made to work with fiveM then you'll definitely have to test to see what works and what doesn't.įirst thing first, you're still going to want to download all the things your mod requests of you (script hook v, dotnet etc). They use a modified lua/lib which means some mods may work fine while others might show some issues. Also, keep using dotnet 2.10.10 especially for older mods that haven't been updated in a while.Įdit3: Also stumbled on some information that seems to confirm some of my experiences with trying to use script mods with fiveM sp. Something to note but it seems that you don't need OpenIV to launch the mods (asi loading might be naturally built in the EGS version). This works for me as I won't be going online. These instructions might be obsolete now.Įdit2: Confirmed, I can now launch from the EGS with mods loaded directly in the GTA install folder. Edit: It looks like script hook might have been unofficially patched, link is pinned to the original shv download page.
